London Book Talk

The Exhibition and Experience Design Handbook contains 12 chapters that form a methodology for designing successful and people-centered events and experiences. Each chapter begins with a commissioned visualization created by designers from all over the world that serves to demonstrate the diversity of the contemporary exhibition design field. Called the “Designer’s Toolbox” these visualizations summarize each chapter, and the technical design methods and ingredients that constitute each trope.

The visualization for chapter 2 was developed by Claire Healy who designs and creates narrative environments and is an Associate Lecturer on the MA Narrative Environments program at Central Saint Martins/University of the Arts in London. I recently visited the university and gave a book talk to a group of graduate students in the program. Thank you to Claire and Course Tutor Beth Shepherd for hosting me and to the students for all of their great questions.
