I recently gave a two-hour workshop to about 70 docents who work at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. We covered the basics of exhibition design and what makes a successful exhibition experience using a combination of presentation and hands-on making and ideation exercises. I used the Exhibition and Experience Design Handbook as the foundation for the workshop. Thank you to the education team at the Crocker for inviting me.
